Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring IRF experience and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Details
Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting across 1st and 2nd floors with 50 beds
Specialty areas include stroke, brain injury, and comprehensive rehab
Patient population is 18 years and older with variable diagnoses and treatments
Day shift schedule with weekend rotation of 1 in 3
Varying patient ratios depending on census
Uses specialized equipment including Bits, Bioness, Biodex, Vector, E-Stim, parallel bars, stairs, cuff weights, dumbbells, assistive devices, and balance equipment
EHR systems include Epic and UDS
Requirements
Occupational Therapy license required to practice in Missouri (License required if applicable)
BLS/CPR certification required
FCSR certification required
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
IRF experience required
Experience with QI scoring is beneficial but not required

Report time is 8:00 AM
Permanent address cannot be within 60 miles of the facility
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
