Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring 2+ years experience and prior IRF or SNF experience.
Details
Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with brain injury and stroke care units
60-bed unit with a patient ratio of 7 to 1
Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (no younger than 13)
Common diagnoses include neuro, ortho, debility, and cardiac conditions
Specialized equipment includes EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, and Body Weight Support systems
Epic and UDS EHR systems used
Day shift schedule, 7:00a-4:30p with weekend hours on request
No call requirements
No floating requirements
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
IRF or SNF experience required
AHA certifications required
License required if applicable
Active state licensure required at time of consideration
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
Join a collaborative team of rehab clinicians focused on improving patient function and quality of life
Strong teamwork, communication, and work ethic expected
Black scrubs required
Report time is 7:30a on first day
Local candidates not accepted;
permanent address must be more than 60 miles from facility
Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
