Role Overview
Seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a travel position in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The role involves providing rehabilitative care by assisting patients with activities and exercises outlined in treatment plans developed with occupational therapists.
Responsibilities Include
Assessing patient learning needs and capabilities, considering age, understanding, and emotional status.
Implementing and monitoring treatment plans with sound clinical reasoning.
Collaborating effectively within an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.
Assuming responsibility for incorporating organizational values into job performance.
Qualifications & Skills
Associate’s degree from an accredited institution or a certificate from a recognized vocational or technical college.
Current state licensure or active application process as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / COTA.
Experience or new graduate with the ability to assist with rehabilitative activities.
Strong clinical reasoning, teamwork, and patient assessment skills.
Additional Details
