Responsibilities
Circulating RN responsibilities across a variety of general surgical service lines
First-time travelers are not preferred but may be considered with strong, appropriate OR experience
Any requested time off must be communicated prior to finalizing the placement agreement
Local candidates are not explicitly accepted or excluded — no radius rule specified
Qualifications
Active TN or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR Circulating RN
Must be able to work across multiple general surgical service lines (excluding CV, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery)
Two professional references required for consideration
Copy of driver’s license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
Hospital operating room setting
Works across multiple surgical service lines, excluding cardiovascular, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery — must be flexible across all other service lines
Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
No weekend shift requirements
On-call is required, including minimal weekend call and a proportional rotation of late stays (typically 2–3 times per month)
Block scheduling is not available
