Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) professional in a hospital setting. This role involves working in a surgical environment, supporting multiple specialties, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures. The position offers night shifts, with a focus on acute care surgical procedures requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights, with a shift hours of 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Tuesday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical or operating room setting. Must have the ability to submit licenses and perform scrubbing duties.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma cases, neuro, orthopedic, and general surgeries. Prior scrub experience is required.
Additional Information: The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
Must be available for a unit‑specific orientation; clinicians should be in the state during the orientation week.
Standard shift rotation includes working both weekdays and weekends, with occasional holiday work required.
EMR system in use is EPIC.
No float requirements; dress code is provided.
The hospital operates at Trauma Level 1, and the care setting is acute care.
Must submit valid licenses and have a minimum of one year experience if not specified otherwise.
