Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols. The role requires experienced OR nurses to support a diverse caseload, including both general and specialized surgeries.
Job Details
Location: The healthcare provider seeks an OR Nurse with a valid California license, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or hospital setting.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR, NIHSS, and travel experience required.
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call rotation after hours and on weekends is required, with two weekend 24-hour call shifts per month.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy, Blood & blood product administration, Arthroscopy, Bunionectomy, C-sections, Cardiac Monitoring, Cataract extraction, Cholecystectomy, Fracture reduction, Colon resection, Emergency response, Gynecological procedures, Laparoscopic assisted surgeries, Open reduction of fractures, Trauma procedures, Wound management, and more.
Additional information: Experience with Epic electronic medical records and previous charge nurse experience preferred. Must complete required onboarding modules, work history verification, and submit all compliance documents at least 10 days prior to start date.
Submittal: Candidates must upload valid licensure and certifications, along with two references obtained within the last year.
