Job Summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN specializing in Spine & Total Joint procedures for a 13‑week travel assignment in Lone Tree, Colorado. Minimum 1 year of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license required.
Assignment Details
Start Date: Jun 15, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hrs per week (10‑hour days, Monday‑Friday 7:00‑5:00)
Shift: Day shift (4×10 hrs)
On‑call: Saturdays & Sundays on‑call only; night call Monday‑Friday 5:00‑11:00 (no overnight). 30‑minute on‑call response time.
80 OR rooms daily across 3 ORs for Spine & Joint and 4 ORs for International Hip Preservation Center.
Typical procedures: spine fusions, ALIFs, other spine cases, total joint replacements.
EMR: Meditech/CPN; Meditech experience preferred.
Qualifications
Active CO or compact RN license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certificates must not expire within first 30 days of assignment).
Minimum 1 year of recent acute‑care hospital OR experience.
Spine and joint OR experience required; joint scrub experience preferred.
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within past 12 months.
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
One professional reference required.
Eligibility
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not eligible.
Strong communication skills and flexibility valued.
At least 2 years of clinical experience in area of placement for this HCA facility.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hrs per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Benefits include premium medical, dental, vision, and life insurance beginning day one; 401(k) match; housing stipends; 24/7 support and access to in‑house clinicians.
