American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 4x10hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Dec 1, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a night shift position requiring Level I Trauma OR experience and both scrub and circulate abilities. Details Operating Room unit within a hospital setting Level I Trauma OR experience required Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 20:30-7:00 Every other weekend (EOW) required On-call responsibilities required Must be able to scrub and circulate Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active FL or Compact RN license required in hand Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required Ortho and Neuro experience required Level I Trauma OR experience required BLS and ACLS certification via AHA required PALS and NIH certification required Epic EMR experience required Degree from an accredited school required, or a degree from an FBON-approved institution with 2 years of recent consecutive acute care experience within the past 24 months in a US hospital Additional Information Smoke-free facility Must complete a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review Must pass a basic arrhythmia/EKG competency assessment Local candidates within a 60-mile radius considered at a lower rate Permanent employees must be separated from the facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P- . Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
