Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 9, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room with at least 1 year of experience and a SC or compact RN license for a flexible, multi-specialty OR role. Details Operating Room unit supporting multiple service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics Day shift schedule with 4/10hr or 4/9hr shift options Call required every 4th weekend plus 1-2 days per week based on staffing needs Floating to similar units required as needed Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Current BLS certification (AHA only) Current ACLS certification (AHA only) Nursys verification required for nursing candidates within 30 days of start Additional Information Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff Contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring novice employees Participate in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based nursing practices Demonstrate professional growth through goal setting and continuing education American Traveler Job ID P- .
