Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: Shift: 12H Days Total Weekly Hours: 36 Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Required Experience: - 1 to 2 years of experience Certifications Required: - ABLS - BLS (Basic Life Support) Certifications Preferred: - CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Skills Required: - Gynecology: Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy, Anterior/Posterior repair, Bilateral tubal ligation, C-sections, Dilation & Curettage, Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures. - Plastics: Abdominoplasty, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Mastectomy with tram flap reconstruction. - Professional Knowledge and Skills: Administration of blood products, Cardiac Monitoring, Conscious Sedation monitoring, Infection control, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Starting Peripheral IVs, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Urinary bladder catheterization, Wound Management. - Work Settings: Ambulatory OR, General OR, Pedi General OR, Trauma. - Trauma: Amputations, MVA (multiple injuries). - Podiatry: Ankle fusion, Bunionectomy, Hallux vagus arthroplasty/arthrodesis, Metatarsal surgery. - Orthopedic: Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction, Arthroscopy, Arthrotomy, Carpal tunnel release, Closed reduction of fractures, Laminectomy/discectomy, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Open reduction of fractures, Ortho/Spine, Spinal Fusion, Total joint replacement. - General Surgery: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy partial/total. - Endoscopic Procedures: Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGD, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Peg tube placement/exchange. - Equipment/Instrumentation/Supplies: Cell saver, Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Steris. - Urology: Circumcision, Cystectomy, Cystoscopy, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Transurethral resection of the prostate. - Emergency management: Code response, Fire Safety, Latex Allergy, Malignant Hyperthermia. - Robotics: Colorectal Robotic Surgery, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Gastrointestinal robotic surgery, Gynecologic robotic surgery, Orthopedic robotic surgery, Otolaryngologic robotic surgery, Urologic robotic surgery. - Pedi Endoscopic Procedures: EGD, Flexible sigmoidoscopy, Peg tube placement/exchange/removal. - Ear/Nose/Throat: Endoscopic sinus procedures, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Laryngectomy, Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy. - Bariatrics: Gastric bypass, Gastric Sleeve, Laparoscopic assisted cases. - Pedi Ear/Nose/Throat: Myringotomy with tubes, Tonsillectomy/adenoids, Tracheostomy. Skills Preferred: - Gynecology: Scrub Gynecology Surgery. - Plastics: Scrub Plastics Surgery. - Trauma: Scrub Trauma surgery. - Podiatry: Scrub Podiatry surgery. - Orthopedic: Scrub arthroscopic surgeries, Scrub orthopedic surgeries. - General Surgery: Scrub General Surgery. - Endoscopic Procedures: Scrub Endoscopic surgery. - Urology: Scrub urology Surgery. - Robotics: Scrub Robotic surgery. - Pedi Endoscopic Procedures: Scrub Pedi Endo surgery. - Ear/Nose/Throat: Mastoidectomy/Tympanoplasty/Stapedectomy, Scrub ENT Surgery, Tracheostomy. - Pedi Ear/Nose/Throat: Scrub PEDI ENT Surgery. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Charting System Experience: - Required - Epic Licensure: - Travelers would need both Kansas and Missouri licensure or a compact license in hand at time of submission. Other Requirements: - One weekend on-call every six weeks and one night per week. - Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed. - Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. No local candidates accepted within the 75-mile radius. - Max of 7 days of requested time off. No additional RTO or schedule requests can be made post offer or onsite.
