Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Jennings, Louisiana.

Schedule / Job TypeContract Days 5x8-Hour Shifts 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Onsite
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as OR circulator in a small rural facility, covering OR surgery, C-sections, PACU, and endoscopy procedures
Respond to on-call requirements, including 1 day per week and every 4th to 5th weekend, with an expected on-site arrival within 30 minutes of call-out
Float to other departments as needed when census is low
Participate in a 2-day buddy call orientation during the first week on the unit
Be prepared to serve on an emergency response or relief team in the event of a declared emergency, as directed by unit management
Maintain active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications throughout the assignment
Required QualificationsActive Compact or Louisiana RN license - must be in hand at time of submission
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required - AHA-issued certifications only
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty
Epic EMR experience required
NURSYS report required and must be current within 4 weeks of submission date
Must live more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on file on the driver's license to the facility address) - local travelers are not accepted
Preferred Experience / SkillsExperience in a multi-disciplined or rural hospital setting
Familiarity with PACU and endoscopy workflows in addition to OR circulator duties
Prior travel nursing experience - first-time travelers are not accepted for this role
