Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR Circulate Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/17/2026 Duration: 6 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 17, 2026 Length: 6 weeks Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with strong orthopedic and robotics experience for a teaching hospital assignment requiring a CA RN license and prior travel experience. Details Operating Room setting within a hospital environment Variable 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (6:45 AM-3:15 PM) 1:1 patient ratio Circulating and scrubbing responsibilities required General OR work setting utilizing a Hana Table Da Vinci robotics experience preferred Ability to float to other UCSF facilities within a 75 mile radius as needed Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of submission BSN required AHA BLS certification required CNOR certification preferred Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR experience required Strong orthopedic background required, including ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy, closed/open fracture reduction, laminectomy/discectomy, spinal fusion, and total joint replacement Urology experience required Robotics experience preferred, Da Vinci preferred General surgery experience including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and laparoscopic-assisted procedures Endoscopic procedure experience including bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and EGD Epic charting system experience required Teaching hospital experience required and must be noted in employment history Prior travel assignment experience required within the last 12 months Two professional references from most recent employer required for consideration Additional Information Scrub and circulate for a variety of orthopedic, general surgery, and endoscopic procedures Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travel candidates Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster required, with no exceptions Candidates with prior employment at any University of California medical facility must disclose employment history, including dates, units, and manager names for a rehire eligibility check All requested time off must be disclosed and approved by the manager at time of offer, with no additional requests accepted mid-contract Time off is not permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment American Traveler Job ID P- .
