GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Janesville, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg | Janesville, WI | Contract Quick Look Weekly Gross Pay: $2,007 - $2,112 Shift: Days (6:30A-7P), 12 Hours Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks We are seeking experienced nurses for a contract position in the Med Surg specialty at a leading acute-care hospital in Janesville, WI. The ideal candidates must possess a current Wisconsin RN License, NIHSS certification, and CPR/BLS certification. Education verification is required. *Travel RNs may be required to float to other units. This position will require every other weekend and holiday, and involves 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act. Documents according to standards of care. Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction. Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Utilizes clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Utilizes critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command. GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
