Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 9, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Ortho/Neuro Med-Surg unit position requiring WI or compact RN license and NIHSS certification. Details Work in the Ortho/Neuro Med-Surg unit of a hospital and trauma center Day shift schedule (6:30A-7P), 12-hour shifts Required to work every other weekend and holidays Floating to other units may be required Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Current BLS/BCLS certification Current NIHSS certification Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Education verification required Additional Information Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered nursing care Administer medications and treatments per approved nursing standards and policies Develop and execute individualized patient care plans including patient and family education Participate in unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately Holiday coverage required American Traveler Job ID P- .
