American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Paris, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Orthopedics Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 4, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Orthopedic Surgery unit requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of med/surg experience. Details Work in the Orthopedic In-Patient Unit of a 154-bed hospital 18-bed unit caring for adult and pediatric ortho patients with common diagnoses including fractures Patient ratio of 5:1 Uses traction equipment Meditech EHR used Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Floating required No call requirements Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS and PALS Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Med/Surg experience required Orthopedic experience preferred Social security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center and Level 1 NICU Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center Ranked in the top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes Black scrub color required Must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered a travel candidate Cannot have worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment Weekly orientation held on Mondays American Traveler Job ID P- .
