This Hospital is a BRAND NEW 300 bed acute care, community‑based, not‑for‑profit hospital serving residents of the San Francisco Bay area.
This hospital is affiliated with the largest health system in CA and a national leader in non‑profit exceptional patient care. Our client has partnered with our firm to fill multiple critical positions in their rapidly expanding surgical unit.
Responsibilities
Assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to enhance vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, promoting independence in individuals with disabilities or developmental delays.
Building rapport and fostering cooperation among patients, their families/support groups, and healthcare providers through comprehensive patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and clear communication.
Ensuring adherence to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to safeguard patient privacy and safety while delivering exceptional care.
Providing clinical supervision for assistants and aides, and serving as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
Job Requirements
Education: Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
Certification & Licensure: OT - Occupational Therapist, BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent relevant experience.
