Schedule / Job TypeContract Full-Time Days 3 x 12-hour shifts Expected 36 hours/week
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the immediate post-operative period
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe patient transitions
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic health record
Educate patients and families on post-operative care expectations and discharge instructions
Required QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Prior PACU or post-anesthesia care experience
Preferred Experience / SkillsExperience in an acute care or hospital-based surgical setting
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
