Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lone Tree, Colorado.

PCU Registered Nurse (RN)
Unit Information Location: Lone Tree, CO
Unit: 5th Floor Medical (61115)
Number of Beds: 45
Number of Staff: 90
Shift Information Day Shift: 1 charge RN, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs
Night Shift: 1 charge RN, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs
Patient Care Patient Ratios: 4-5 days/nights
Equipment: Lifts, dynamap, cardiac monitoring equipment
EMR: Meditech
Qualifications Must Have:
Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience
BLS and ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in cardiac and ICU settings
Prior experience with Meditech EMR
NIH certification
Typical Procedures Performed Administration of cardiac drips and management of cardiac catheters
Chest tube management
Wound care
Management of TPN/lipids
Work Environment The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and possess a positive attitude towards colleagues and providers.
Additional Information This unit features new lift equipment and advanced mobile technology. The self-scheduling option allows for greater flexibility in work hours.
