General Information
n Number of Beds: 44 beds
Staffing: Day Shift: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC
Night Shift: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC
Patient Ratios: 4:1 at grid, 5:1 stretched
Type of Equipment: IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, chest tubes, trachs, patient lifts
EMR: Cerner
n Qualifications
n Required Certifications: ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
Skills: Neuro and trauma care experience (mandatory)
n Preferred Qualifications
n Experience with: Neuro and trauma care
n Typical Procedures Performed
n Neuro and spinal checks
C-Collar placement, TLSO braces
Chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusions
Lumbar drain
Feeding tube placement
Blood transfusions
n Personality Fit
nIdeal candidates should be team players with a patient-focused approach.
Work Schedule
nThe position requires working every other weekend.
Dress Code
nUniforms must consist of navy blue scrubs.
Floating Areas
nPotential to float to stepdown units and med-surg units as needed.
