Assignment Overview
nWe are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cardiology with a focus on acute coronary syndromes and heart failure. This role involves hands-on care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Unit Information: 28 beds with an average census of 26
Patient Ratios: RN 1:4-5, CNA 1:11-14
n Responsibilities
n Monitor and manage patients with acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and other cardiac conditions
Perform arrhythmia management and care for post-cardiac cath and EP procedure patients
Titrate medications including Argatroban, Digoxin, and Diltiazem
Document accurately and timely in the EMR system
n Qualifications
Required:
n 1 year of experience in Cardiology
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and post-procedural care
n Preferred:
n Comfortable with medication titration
