Job Summary:
nPediatric Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) in Dallas, Texas. This position involves providing respiratory care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The role requires collaboration with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality patient care on the 3rd floor Pediatric Emergency Department.
nJob Details:
nnSchedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
nCertifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist registered (RT RRT), with minimum 0 years of experience required
nFloat: Float rotation may be required, as pediatric spaces are included in assignments
nAdditional Information: The unit handles pediatric respiratory cases with procedures such as bronchiolitic scoring, respiratory arrest management, noninvasive ventilation, and invasive ventilation. The team utilizes respiratory equipment and Meditech electronic health records. The department values candidates with pediatric critical care experience and offers opportunities with new equipment and technology, supported by experienced staff. The position is open for one or two openings, with a projected start date of 10/26/2026 and end date of 01/25/2027.
