Schedule
nThis position requires a commitment to 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Preference scheduling is permitted with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
Job Description
nWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the NICU/PICU. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to provide comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients, utilizing a variety of advanced respiratory equipment and techniques.
Responsibilities
n Administer all aspects of respiratory care, including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, and various ventilators (Hamilton and Servo).
Conduct airway management and intrahospital transport for critically ill patients.
Provide care for patients in NICU and PICU settings.
Collaborate with medical personnel in patient treatment plans and interventions.
n Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
n A minimum of 2 years of experience working in PICU and/or level 4 or greater NICU.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
RRT preferred; CRT acceptable.
