Job Role
nThe Clinical Pharmacist provides consultative services and clinical expertise to evaluate and improve medication usage and therapeutic outcomes. Responsibilities include:
n Promoting continuous improvement within the pharmacy scope of practice.
Processing orders and prescriptions to provide medications and pharmaceutical supplies as ordered by physicians and authorized medical practitioners.
Advising physicians, healthcare staff, residents, and patients on the safe administration of medication.
Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for medication safety, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Performing other job functions as assigned or requested.
n Qualifications
n Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-timers accepted.
Pediatric experience is required.
Tennessee licensure is required at the time of submission.
Driver’s license must be included with submission.
n Work Schedule
nWeekend requirements as needed. Block scheduling is not accommodated.
Additional Information
nThis position is for a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission, as RTO sent after the offer will not be considered for approval.
