Healthcare Job Opportunity

You will be working as a Pharmacist in the inpatient setting, focusing on areas such as ICU, IMC, ED, and Med-Surg in a facility that provides various pharmacy services including chemotherapy preparation. This position features a night shift schedule with guaranteed hours.

Job Overview

Shift: Nights, 7 shifts in a two-week pay period, Wednesday night through Tuesday nights, 9pm to 7am, every 3rd or 4th weekend, holiday requirements apply

About the Unit

Coverage areas include ICU, IMC, ED, Med-Surg, OR (cardiothoracic), cardiac cath, EPS, and central pharmacy.

IV Room experience is not required but understanding of USP 797 is necessary.

Minimal chemotherapy preparation is performed, focusing on gemcitabine, mitomycin, and methotrexate.

Pharmacy staff includes Pharmacy Techs working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Department orientation will last 2-3 weeks.

Requirements

1 year of inpatient staffing experience

BLS certification

Wisconsin License

Experience with Vancomycin AUC dosing, Aminoglycosides dosing, Heparin dosing/monitoring, and TPN management/monitoring
