American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Bryson City, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 10/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 23, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a critical access hospital, requiring pelvic and pediatric experience in an acute and outpatient care setting. Details 13-week assignment with an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift schedule Work across acute, outpatient, and short-term rehab settings Facility includes 48 acute care beds and 25 short-term rehab beds 1-on-1 patient ratio in outpatient, acute, and short-term rehab care Uses Redoc for outpatient documentation and Paragon for acute and short-term rehab documentation Weekend hours and float requirements dependent on position, to be discussed during interview No on-call requirements Every other weekend rotation Requirements 1-2 years of experience preferred Pelvic and pediatric experience required Experience in ortho and neuro preferred AHA certifications required License required if applicable Experience in the specific area of care required Additional Information Hospital serves four westernmost counties of North Carolina, offering primary, inpatient, emergency, imaging, rehabilitation, urology, cardiopulmonary, geriatric, pediatric, and gastroenterology services Located in Bryson City, NC, near the Great Smoky Mountains with access to hiking, biking, and kayaking Orientation scheduled periodically throughout October through December 2026 Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel assignment Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time Open to first-time travelers American Traveler Job ID P- .
