Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring current state PT licensure and BLS certification.
Details
Critical access medical center setting within a 25-bed facility
Day shift schedule, 7:30 AM-5:30 PM, 4x10 hours per week
Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required for those licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent accepted
2+ years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required (license required if applicable)
BLS certification from an approved vendor required
Active, unrestricted license in the state of submission required
Additional Information
Plans and conducts treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions
Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
Completes evaluations and establishes individualized treatment and discharge plans
Provides therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and techniques
Completes comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines
Supervises assigned physical therapy assistants
Accepts local candidates with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
Candidates with a prior licensure or certification issue will not be considered
Required vaccinations are mandatory as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
