Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of experience and both inpatient and outpatient coverage.
Details
Acute Care Hospital setting with a critical access facility type
Patient ratio of 1:5-10
Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule, Monday-Thursday 7:20am-5:50pm
Position floats between units based on need
Requires working in acute care at one facility then traveling approximately 23 miles to a second facility for outpatient coverage in the afternoon
No call or weekend requirements
Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
BLS certification required
WA state PT license required, license required if applicable
Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
Epic charting experience preferred
Additional Information
Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, and documentation across acute care and outpatient settings
Scrub color is unrestricted for RN/Allied staff
No parking fees at the facility
Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted site
Returning staff may be eligible to return after a 3-month break, subject to distance requirements from the facility
Local radius guideline of 50 miles
Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience for this role
