Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 3+ years of experience and current CA licensure to work Monday-Friday day shifts.
Details
Outpatient, skilled nursing facility, and inpatient rehabilitation settings
Monday - Friday schedule, 8am - 5pm
No holiday coverage required
9-week contract assignment

Requirements
Current California PT licensure or certification required
Current BCLS certification required
3+ years of physical therapy experience preferred
Knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology
Knowledge of disease processes and related causative factors
Knowledge of infection control and sterile techniques
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills
Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office applications
Additional Information
Responsible for patient assessment, treatment planning, and reassessment across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general patient populations
Coordinates patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers
Trains nursing and departmental staff through on-the-job instruction
Maintains documentation in compliance with current standards and policies
Operates and maintains physical therapy equipment safely
Adheres to dress code and wears identification badge while on duty
Participates in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times
