Job Summary:
nThe Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is located in Texas. This role involves supporting physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, primarily within long-term care or rehabilitation settings. The PTA will provide evidence-based rehabilitative treatments to patients with functional disorders, assist in assessments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
nJob Details:
nnSchedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, with an anticipated start date of 10/19/2026 and end date of 01/18/2027.
nRequired Qualifications: Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, 1 year of PTA experience, long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation experience, PTA license, and the ability to work in Texas.
nPreferred Qualifications: None specified.
nAdditional Information: Responsibilities include supporting clinical interventions such as manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use. The candidate will assess patient progress, document all clinical activities accurately, participate in meetings and trainings, and support students under supervision. Adherence to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and state practice acts, ethics, and conduct is required.
