Job description
Job Role:
Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) providing outpatient home health therapy services, primarily for geriatric patients, within a designated territory.
Responsibilities:
Deliver independent therapy services, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient recovery, ensure timely documentation, and adapt to varying patient needs. May involve occasional travel beyond the territory and participating in on-call rotations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid license, active driver’s license, personal transportation, minimum of 1 year relevant experience, recent productivity minimums, BLS certification, proficiency in HCHB and OASIS. Experience with geriatric populations, outpatient clinics, and skilled nursing facilities is preferred. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively is essential.
Key Duties:
Provide comprehensive outpatient home health therapy, document patient progress, and adapt to patient needs. Flexibility to cover territory and occasional travel required.
