Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Alexandria, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 12/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) at Alexandria, VA. This position involves providing outpatient physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, including adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role supports a team-based environment during a maternity leave, with a focus on delivering comprehensive outpatient care in a busy clinical setting. Job Details Position Description: Physical Therapy Assistant preferred. Support the organizations outpatient therapy team during a maternity leave, handling varied orthopedic and musculoskeletal cases such as Achilles Tendonitis, ACL Tears, Post-Operative Back Pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and Total Joint Replacement. Key Experience and Skills Required: Not provided. Patient Ratios / Productivity: 11 visits per day, 90% productivity, and 55 visits per week. Evaluation Times: 60-minute evaluations. Follow-up Visits: Scheduled every 30 minutes, with a treatment time of 60 minutes. Schedule: Days, hours to be discussed, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Documentation System: NextGen. Staff Support: Patient Experience Coordinators and Rehab Aides. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: Dress Code: Business Casual.
