Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Newman, CA
Location: Newman, California
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (with potential for extension)
We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled therapy team in Newman, CA . This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' mobility and quality of life while enjoying the charm of California's Central Valley.
Position Overview
Provide professional physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following all state/federal regulations and facility policies.
Responsibilities
Implement therapy interventions according to the PT's plan of care
Document patient progress accurately and on time
Assist with patient and caregiver education on exercises and rehabilitation techniques
Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team
Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
Active California PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills
Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and outcomes
