Job Summary
nPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Oklahoma this position offers an opportunity to support rehabilitative services within a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment. The role involves providing evidence-based, skilled treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, contributing to patient recovery and functional improvement.
nJob Details
nnSchedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
nRequired Qualifications: Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Oklahoma; at least one year of PTA experience; long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred; successful submission of a resume; skills checklist completed within 1 year; 0-1 professional references available at the time of submission; active Occupational Therapist (OT) license at submission
nPreferred Qualifications: None specified
nAdditional Information: The role involves assisting with patient assessments, administering therapeutic procedures, documenting clinical activities, and supporting the physical therapist in care planning and discharge summaries. Candidates must participate in meetings, trainings, and in-services as required and adhere to professional practice acts, code of ethics, and clinical standards. Supervision of students may be required, along with requisitioning necessary Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and supplies in compliance with regulations.
