Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring at least one year of acute care PT experience and a valid KY PT license.
Details
Home Health setting covering Massac, Johnson, and Pope counties
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-5pm
On-call rotation of one weekend per month
HomeCare HomeBase charting system preferred but not required
Requirements
KY Physical Therapy State License required (license required if applicable)
Minimum of one year of experience as a PT in an acute setting required
Home care experience preferred
Valid driver's license and auto insurance with candidate listed as a named driver required
Strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
Detail-oriented and observant work style
Disciplined work ethic with strong prioritization and time management skills
Additional Information
Responsibilities include providing physical therapy services to patients in a home care setting
Mileage travel between patient visits is required as part of daily duties
Open to candidates with strong acute care backgrounds transitioning into home health
