Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) in Gassaway, WV. This home health position involves providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes across multiple counties, with a focus on general orthopedic care, weakness, strengthening, and cardiac rehabilitation. The role emphasizes excellent patient care, documentation, and the ability to work independently within a home health setting.
Position Description
Provides physical therapy services to patients in a home health setting across eight counties, including Braxton, Gilmer, Calhoun, Nicholas, Webster, Clay, Randolph, and Pocahontas. Emphasis on general ortho, weakness, strengthening, and cardiac rehab patients.
Certifications and Education
Current BLS certification required.
Must be licensed to practice in the state of West Virginia.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist in inpatient or home health settings.
Schedule
Day shift, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Self-scheduling is permitted, allowing flexibility in patient assignments within operational guidelines.
Additional Information
Orientation held at the Gassaway office to familiarise with Epic documentation system tailored to clinician needs. No weekend or holiday work required.
