Job description
American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least one year of acute care experience to provide patient care in Montgomery County, Ohio.
Requirements
Minimum of one year of experience as a PT in an acute care setting required
Home care experience desired
Valid state PT license required prior to start; cannot start with a pending license
License required if applicable
Valid driver's license and auto insurance with candidate listed as a driver required
Strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
Sound clinical judgment and knowledge of therapy best practices
Detail-oriented, observant, and disciplined work ethic with strong prioritization and time management skills
Responsibilities
Home health setting providing PT services to patients in their residences
Full-time schedule including Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday per week
Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
HomeCare HomeBase charting system preferred but not required
Responsibilities include delivering physical therapy services in a home care environment
Requires ability to identify patient needs and implement effective solutions independently
