Job description
Role:
Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities:
Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff, bill within facility guidelines, ensure compliance with state PT board rules, collaborate with medical personnel to create and modify plans of care, evaluate patients, understand adaptive equipment, use medical systems, and provide accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must have at least 6 months of experience (1 year preferred), valid state licensing, BLS certification, and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is required.
Additional Details:
The role involves day shifts (8 hours), with a focus on team collaboration and patient care. Additional certifications may be required prior to start. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for continuing education.
