Description
American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience and Epic charting skills for a rehabilitation hospital setting.
Details
Rehabilitation hospital inpatient setting
5x8 Monday-Friday day shift, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
2 weekend shifts required with flexibility to choose weekends and comp days
No call required
Patient population includes orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and geriatric cases
Treats conditions including total hip/knee replacements, post-op spinal and shoulder surgery, stroke, and COPD/CHF
Uses adaptive devices, assistive equipment, and modalities such as E-stim and TENS
Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
BLS certification required
WI state PT license required (license required if applicable);
pending license accepted
Experience with evaluations, plan of care, and home exercise programs required
Must be clean-shaven to achieve proper mask seal for respirator fit testing
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
Additional Information
Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, and patient/family education
Facility closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
First-time travelers accepted
70-mile radius rule applies;
local candidates not accepted
Clinicians cannot work past 1 year as a traveler without taking a 6-month break before returning
CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and personal devices are not permitted;
no medical or religiousexemptions allowed for fit testing
