Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation setting, requiring 6+ months of recent acute care PT experience.
Details
41-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility
Day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
Every other weekend required with rotating weekend coverage
Flexible start/stop treatment times needed
Carries up to a 6-hour treatment load per 8-hour shift
Patients require 3 hours of therapy daily;
clinician responsible for tracking time/charges accordingly
Uses Meditech Magic EMR
Equipment includes ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital sign machines
Works alongside a multidisciplinary therapy team of 15-20 staff daily across PT, OT, and SLP
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of current acute care PT experience
BLS certification required
License required if applicable
Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
Neuro certification or experience preferred
Strong hands-on clinical treatment skills
Additional Information
Daily responsibilities include evaluation and treatment, gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training
Brand new facility featuring state-of-the-art technology, a vector unweighted system, and a full IADL kitchen
Team-oriented environment with flexible scheduling needs
Best suited for a flexible, hands-on clinician comfortable with rotating weekend shifts
