Job description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient-focused role, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active state license.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Active state PT license required (license required if applicable)
BLS certification required
ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications may be required
ASHA, CHT, or ACP training certifications may be required
Responsibilities
Full-time outpatient physical therapy position with approximately 95% outpatient and 5% long-term care/skilled swing bed patients
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-5
13-week contract with strong possibility of extension
Therapist should be prepared to treat a wide variety of patients
Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, implementation, education, and communication to help patients reach functional goals
Collaborative work environment emphasizing teamwork with other health professionals and ancillary staff
Facility promotes a community-centered, adaptable approach to patient care
Open to first-time travelers
