Description American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience to join a facility offering outpatient care with possible flexing to acute settings.
Details Primary setting is Outpatient Clinic with possible flex to Acute Care
Coverage for weekends/holidays in Acute setting may be needed
Day shift schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
Cerner charting system experience preferred
Treats orthopedic conditions including joint replacements, spinal conditions, and post-op cases
Experience with cardiopulmonary, neurological, and geriatric patient populations
Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in the profession required
BLS certification required
Cerner charting experience preferred
Teaching hospital experience preferred
Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
License required if applicable
Experience with modalities such as cervical/lumbar traction, cryotherapy, e-stim, and ultrasound preferred
Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and home exercise program development
Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge documentation
Patient and family education on safety, injury prevention, and home exercise programs included in role
Facility conducts its own mandatory onsite drug screen including marijuana testing upon arrival
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
