Overview
Physical Therapist (Specialty: Skilled Nursing Facility) - Silver City, New Mexico, United States. Start date: 10/24/2026. Assignment duration: 11 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,475-$2,564 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per day (8:00 AM-4:30 PM). Setting: long-term care / nursing home environment. This travel assignment is a temporary position managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
Deliver physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing rehabilitation for residents per the plan of care.
Implement evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional independence; adjust treatments as needed.
Document patient progress, maintain timely records, and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary care team.
Monitor patient safety, manage activity tolerance, and adapt interventions to meet changing clinical needs.
Provide education to residents and families; participate in discharge planning and referrals when appropriate.
Supervise therapy assistants as allowed by state regulations; ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Active license to practice physical therapy (PT) or eligible status for PT/ PTA in the United States; state-specific requirements apply.
Ability to work in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility setting.
Availability for a fixed 11-week travel assignment starting 10/24/2026 with guaranteed hours.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
