Physical Therapist – Skilled Nursing Facility in Waterville, ME, US. This travel temporary assignment starts on 10/19/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,408 to $2,566 per week, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift is 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30. Setting: skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities
Evaluate residents for physical therapy needs and develop individualized plans of care aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
Implement evidence-based PT interventions, including gait training, ROM exercises, endurance activities, and task-specific training within a skilled nursing setting
Assess and monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety, fall prevention, and activity modification to support continued progress
Communicate clearly with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and timely discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with regulatory and facility standards
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist license (state of Maine or eligible for licensure by endorsement)
Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
Experience in geriatrics or SNF rehabilitation preferred
Strong documentation skills and proficiency with electronic health records
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
