Job description
Role: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.
Key Duties
Oversee supervision of PTAs and support staff
Bill and document within facility and insurance guidelines
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care
Assess patients, create and modify care plans based on clinical needs
Understand and apply adaptive equipment knowledge
Use medical computer systems for documentation
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply
Current state-specific license and BLS certification
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Additional certifications such as ABPTS may be required
