American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oakland, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Sep 7, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN with 5 years of straight PICU cardiac experience and a CA RN license. Details 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM 13-week assignment 36 hours per week Uses EPIC EMR system Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of consideration BLS and PALS certifications required Minimum 5 years of straight PICU experience (non-floating) with cardiac experience required Graduate of an accredited nursing program Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates Care for critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU American Traveler Job ID P- . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
