Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Jul 20, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma Care Stepdown/PCU position requiring 2 years of specialty experience and NIH Stroke certification. Details Trauma Care Stepdown (PCU) unit within a hospital setting Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a PCU/Trauma Stepdown setting Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC, not expiring within 30 days of start Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) One professional reference required Additional Information Provide telemetry and stepdown level nursing care to trauma patients Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met American Traveler Job ID P- .
