The position requires providing advanced patient care in a fast-paced environment with a variety of medical procedures and equipment.

Position Description
Unit: Stepdown Float, with preference for candidates with ICU and Progressive Care Unit experience
Critical care experience: Minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting
Top Diagnosis/Procedures include surgical, medical, and neuro cases
Common Equipment includes bladder scanners, IV pumps, PCA pumps, SCDs, bipaps, cpaps, optiflows, vapotherms, airvos
Vasoactive Drip Titration is required for medications such as neosynephrine, amiodarone, and cardizem
Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:03 (not guaranteed)
Line Management Skills required include IV insertion, PICC/Central Line management, vascular device care, dialysis fistula care/management, A-Line management
Preferred skills include obtaining 12 lead EKG, sheath removal, cardioversion/defibrillation
Airway management skills required: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach care
Ortho/MS/Oncology skills required: Epidural/PCA pumps, feeding tubes, wound vac

Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

End Date: 01/04/2027
