Job description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to support the Behavioral Health Unit at ECU Health in Greenville, NC. This role provides inpatient psychiatric care, crisis stabilization, medication management, and diagnostic evaluations for adult patients in an acute hospital setting.

nResponsibilities
nnConduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning
nProvide medication management and ongoing behavioral health care
nSupport crisis intervention , stabilization, and acute psychiatric admissions
nPerform daily rounding, documentation, and collaborative care with nursing + social work teams
nParticipate in interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning
nEnsure compliance with state and facility standards of care
n nRequirements
nnMD or DO with Psychiatry Board Certification (BE accepted)
nActive North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)
nDEA license required
n1–2+ years experience in inpatient adult psychiatry
nExperience with crisis stabilization and acute psychiatric care
nLocum tenens / travel experience preferred, but not required
