Travel PTA - Home HealthAmerican Traveler is seeking a PTA with 2+ years of experience and active BLS certification for a 13-week Home Health assignment in the greater Sacramento, CA area.Details:Home Health setting serving the greater Sacramento County areaPatients present with a variety of diagnoses including cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditionsTypical caseload is 5–6 patients per dayUses Cerner for documentation and charting8-hour day shiftsRequirements:Active PTA state license (California or Compact/NLC); pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicableActive BLS (AHA) certification required; pending certifications will not be acceptedMinimum 2 years of experience as a PTACopy of driver's license required for considerationTwo professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehireAdditional Information:Treats patients across a broad range of diagnoses including cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions in a home health environmentNew graduates are considered only in exceptional circumstances; at least 2 years of experience is strongly preferredCandidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be consideredHours per week: 40Hours per shift: 8
