Travel PTA - Long Term Acute CareAmerican Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Long Term Care assignment in Worcester, MA, requiring 1+ years of PTA experience and LTC/Rehab setting experience.Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing facility setting within the Physical Therapy departmentDay shift, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hoursNo weekend or on-call requirements13-week assignmentActive PTA license required (if applicable)Minimum 1 year of PTA experience requiredLTC or Rehab setting experience requiredNew grads considered if they have Level II clinical experience (not just Level I observation)One reference required at time of considerationProvide rehabilitative, skilled treatment under the supervision of a Physical TherapistAdminister manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devicesAssess patient progress and communicate with supervising PT to adjust treatment plansDocument all regulatory and clinical information in the electronic documentation systemProvide input for discharge summaries and participate in patient care conferences and utilization review meetingsSupervise and support PTA students under PT guidanceAdhere to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standardsMaximum of 5 days RTO may be requested during the assignment
